bringing total funding since 1991 to $89 Million
The Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) announced today awards of nearly $1.2 million for the fall 2020 grant cycle.
Several representatives spoke of the value and impact these awards will have for their organizations:
Amy Groskopf, Library Director, FRIENDS of the Davenport Public Library – $40,000 (final installment of $240,000 total commitment), Main Library 21st Century Renovation
Maria Ontiveros, President, Mercado on Fifth – $24,000, Indoor Expansion
Leah Patton, Managing Attorney, Iowa Legal Aid – $9,775, Updating Technology to Better Serve Low-Income Scott County Residents
The Authority received a total of 75 requests for funding totaling $1,572,295.
A total of $1,164,202 was awarded to 56 projects benefiting residents of Scott County.
This brings SCRA funding since 1991 to $89,111,216 for the benefit of people and organizations in our community.
At this time, the next grant cycle is anticipated to be in spring 2021 with applications available by March 1, due April 1. Any changes to the regularly scheduled future grant cycles will be posted the SCRA website: www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com and shared through local media.
