Scott County Regional Authority Awards Over $1.45 Million

bringing total funding since 1991 to over $102 million

The Scott County Regional Authority (SCRA) announced today awards of over $1.45 million for the spring 2025 grant cycle.

Several representatives spoke of the value and impact these awards will have for their organizations:

Joe Stutting, Superintendent and Andrew Lehn, Principal, North Scott Community School District – $100,000 (final installment of $500,000 total commitment), Regional Innovation Center: Collaborative Education for Workforce Growth

Kyle Beale-McDonald, Training & Development Manager, MEDIC EMS – $64,300, Unite to Save Lives: Empowering Our Community to Make A Difference

Tom Bowman, Chief Executive Officer, Community Health Care – $60,000, Expanding Pharmacy Access for Low-Income Patients at River Drive Clinic

Ron May, Co-founder & Past President, Opera Quad Cities. – $7,000, Die Fledermaus

The Authority received a total of 98 requests for funding totaling $3,355,554.

A total of $1,458,851 was awarded to 50 projects benefiting residents of Scott County. 

This brings SCRA funding since 1991 to $102,820,592 for the benefit of people and organizations in our community.

The next grant cycle is scheduled to be in fall 2025, with applications available by September 1, due October 1.  Information regarding future grant cycles will be posted the SCRA website: www.ScottCountyRegionalAuthority.com and shared through local media.
